What CheckFox reports contain and how they are generated, shared and exported.

What a report is

The auditor's deliverable: a document summarizing the audit's scope, methodology, findings and recommendations. Distinct from the accessibility statement, which is the public-facing declaration. The report is the technical document for the audit's commissioner.

A report is generated from a template and is a set of slides, so it can be presented full screen as well as read.

Generating a report

From the audit's Reports tab, choose a template, a content language (English or French) and the sections to include, then generate. A report can be regenerated later from the latest audit data, keeping its identity and its share link. Regenerating rebuilds every slide, including ones that were manually skipped.

Sections

Overview (always included) - name, date, guideline, author
Criteria table - every criterion with its status
Comments and notes - the observations marked for the report
Summary graphs - charts and statistics
Glossary - accessibility terminology, off by default

Templates

Three built-in templates: a Basic Summary for a status update, a Detailed report for technical teams, and a Client-Friendly view centred on business impact and recommendations.

Pro and Enterprise workspaces can create their own templates, controlling branding, section order and styling, and can write the content in either supported language. See methodology / statement quality for the neighbouring document, and procedures / export a report for the export itself.

The linked journey

When a journey links to the audit, a template can pull it into the report: its name and description, its accessibility score and coverage, and its public link. See journeys.

A share link. Every report has one. Making it public lets anyone with the link read it, without an account. The link can be revoked.
PDF. A text-based PDF, not images, so it stays searchable and accessible. Available from the Starter plan.
Excel. Two shapes: a technical export of the criteria and their results, and a complete export including the written content.

Audit page > Reports tab, then open a report to present, share or export it.
