CheckFox plan tiers, add-ons, and member roles.
Plans

Each plan sets:
- How many audits can be active at once, and how many can be created per rolling year
- How many samples an audit can hold
- How many members a workspace can hold
- How many scans per month run on CheckFox's shared scanner key
- Which features are unlocked

What each tier unlocks
- Free - manual auditing, public sharing, in-app notifications, XLS and ODS import.
- Starter - adds PDF report export, real-time collaboration, JSON audit export and import, email support, and the issue-tracker integrations (Jira, GitHub, Linear).
- Pro - adds custom report and statement templates, custom guidelines, workspace branding, accessibility plans, email notifications, and bundles the Journeys, Scanner and MCP add-ons at no extra cost.
- Enterprise - adds audit versioning, activity logs and usage analytics, admin features, priority support, removal of the "Created with CheckFox" mention, and one extra linked Pro workspace.
Add-ons
Add-ons are activatable on top of any plan. They add capability without requiring a plan upgrade, and a plan that already bundles one never charges for it.

Starter workspaces get one of Journeys, Scanner or MCP at half price. Upgrading to Pro ends that discount, because Pro includes all three anyway.
Roles
Roles apply within a workspace:

Reader is the default role for a new invitation, and it is a genuine read-only tier: a Reader sees every audit, sample and finding in the workspace and can export them, but cannot change anything until someone grants them more.
Two invitation rules follow: only an Owner can invite a Moderator, and an Editor can only invite Readers. See procedures / invite a collaborator.
What a Reader can be granted
An Owner or Moderator opens Manage access on a Reader's row and decides four things:
- Which audits they may edit. Reading is already theirs, so a grant adds editing on the audits you tick, one by one.
- Whether they may create audits. Off by default. A Reader who creates an audit owns it and can edit it, without gaining edit on anyone else's. Audits they create count against the workspace quota like any other.
- Journeys: no access, read, or edit.
- Accessibility plans: no access, read, or edit.
An area set to "no access" disappears from that person's navigation entirely.
These settings apply to Readers only. Owners, Moderators and Editors already hold everything by virtue of their role.
Seats: who costs money
On Enterprise, where seats are metered beyond those included, a Reader who cannot change anything is free. A member takes a paid seat as soon as they can write: any role above Reader, or a Reader who has been granted audit editing, the right to create audits, edit access to journeys or plans, or who owns an audit in the workspace.
Practically: invite as many read-only reviewers, clients and stakeholders as you like, and pay for the people who actually produce work. The Members list marks each person as a paid or free seat.
