Test 1 (5.4)
iOS and Android
- Activate the screen reader.
- Perform the actions required for a status message to appear, for example:
- filling in a form correctly and validating it to display a message indicating successful submission;
- submitting a form with mandatory fields without input to display a message indicating the presence of errors;
- accessing a screen that takes a certain amount of time to load, so that a progress message or a loading progress indicator is displayed.
- Check that when the status appears, the screen reader renders the information and that this information is understandable.
- If this is the case, the criterion is validated.
