Official methodology to test criterion 14.1

Test 1 (14.1)

iOS and Android
  1. Find out whether a support service is available in the application.
  2. If this is the case, look for documentation in the application.
  3. Identify the presence in the documentation of
    • a description of the accessibility features offered by the application;
    • a description of the complex components for which special management is in place depending on the assistive technology;
    • explanations of how to use these functions (where they are located, how to activate them);
    • a description of the elements that do not comply or are not compatible with certain assistive technologies, and the presence of alternatives where appropriate.
  4. Check that the support service provides information about these features.
  5. If this is the case, the criterion is validated.
