12.4 Does the application documentation comply with digital accessibility rules?

Official methodology to test criterion 12.4

Test 1 (12.4)

iOS and Android
  1. Identify the presence of a documentation in the application or accessible from the application.
  2. For a documentation in web format (HTML, CSS), check that it complies with the RAWeb criteria.
  3. For a documentation in PDF format, check that it complies with the RAPDF criteria.
  4. For a documentation in non-web format (other than PDF), check that it complies with the section 10 Non-web documents criteria of the European standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1.
  5. For a documentation made available in a mobile application, check that it complies with the RAAM criteria.
  6. If this is the case, the criterion is validated. Note: the documentation will be considered non-compliant as soon as an error is identified with regard to the target criteria, even if the error is part of the template elements (menu, footer) and not just part of the content of the isolated documentation.
