1.4 For each graphic element used as a CAPTCHA or as a test graphic element, does the alternative rendered by the assistive technologies make it possible to identify the nature and function of the graphic element?

Test 1 (1.4)

iOS and Android
  1. Activate the screen reader.
  2. Identify the graphic elements used as CAPTCHAs on the screen (see glossary note on the particularities of rendering).
  3. Check that the alternative rendered by the screen reader makes it possible to understand the function of the graphic element (e.g. "Secret code to enter", "Security code").
  4. If this is the case, the criterion is validated.
